Kiran Wattamwar is an engineer and designer, interested in the ways technology can be implemented to protect against privacy and civil liberties harms, and the ways in which policy can strengthen these protections. Currently, she's a first year law student at Stanford Law School.

Previous, she completed a Master in Design Engineering at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, also focusing on civic participation, privacy and telecommunications. Kiran also holds a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Computer Science and minors in Architecture and Art, Culture and Technology.

Formerly a Privacy and Civil Liberties Engineer at Palantir and a software Engineer at Microsoft, Square and Tripadvisor. Maker and nerd.
